We try to schedule at least one or two events a month,
and we also have monthly club meetings (third Sunday of most months, see upcoming events for
details). We have an annual Christmas party, attend many cruises and car shows, and put on
displays every year at the Dallas Autorama (the largest indoor car show in the Metroplex) as well as the Fort Worth Rod and Custom Show.
As a member, you can keep up with the latest club happenings with our email newsletter,
and discuss issues you have with your Pontiac with other knowledgeable enthusiasts. Many of
our members are skilled restoration hobbyists, so there is always someone you can bring your
questions to. You will be able to find valuable Pontiac resources such as reproduction parts
manufacturers, refurbishing, paint and pretty much anything you could ever need. Our members
own cars from a '34 Coupe to a GTO; we represent all generations of fine Pontiac vehicles.
If you live in the DFW area and own a Pontiac, come and join in the fun with Lone Star. You will be
glad you did, and we would be glad to have you!
The Lone Star Chapter of POCI was founded in 1978 by
long time classic car enthusiast and current member
Glen Balko and has been having fun with Pontiacs in the
Dallas/Fort Worth area for almost 40 years. Many of the
members who are currently involved with Lone Star are
in fact founding members who have been with us since
the beginning.
